PTP'S Artist Lab is happy to host a series of Playwriting Workshops this April! There are four workshops to choose from, each with a different focus. Whether you take one, a couple, or all four, you'll gain valuable insights to hone your script writing abilities.
PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP #4 "Structure and Execution Of Script: One Beat At a Time"
INSTRUCTOR: Summer Krafft
DATE: Friday, April 18
TIME: 6:30pm-8:30pm
PLACE: PTP Artist Lab, 1218 K St, Modesto
PRICE: $20 ($10 for students with ID)
DESCRIPTION: This workshop is suited specifically to those wanting to write a script: in a small group, we will look at and discuss What each participant is bringing in, and workshop Point A, if possible, Point B, and theorize what might get them from beginning to end. We will not finish the actual writing of scripts in this session, but rather make a roadmap of beats to hit. NOTE: This workshop is for writers who also took workshop #2 or #3, or for writers who are experienced in developing characters and settings/circumstances but have limited experience with script writing. If you have questions about this, please reach out at info@prospecttheaterproject.org
