A race to honor police officers from Stanislaus County who were killed in the line of duty will make its way through downtown on the first day of October, as well as a safety fair put on by our local peace officers. Dedications to 20 fallen officers will be displayed at the start line, finish line, and each mile of the half marathon. Visit the Peace Officer Memorial Run website for more information.

SCHEDULE

6:45am – The event will start with a short ceremony honoring the 20 fallen officers who paid the ultimate price in Stanislaus County.

7:00am – Half Marathon – Relay Start

7:20am – 5K Start

9:30am – Kids Fun Run Start

6am to 12pm – Safety Faire / Race Expo on I Street, between 10th and 11th Streets
