It's back! After a capacity audience laughed their faces off during this show last March, we knew The Ladies of Laughter Funny & Fabulous Tour just had to return. This perfect girls-night-out show includes winners and the best talent from its national competition. Past participants include Amy Schumer and “Big Bang Theory“ star Melissa Rauch, among many others. The performers are:
POPPY CHAMPLIN
The 2024 Ladies of Laughter National Professional winner, Poppi was comedically trained at Chicago Second City Training Center. Her stand-up resume is extensive: Winner, America's Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show; featured on Entertainment Tonight, Showtime, LOGO, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Oprah. One of the top acts in the country, Poppy has opened for such comics as Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Bill Maher, Bill Hicks and Rosie O'Donnell. Poppy can be seen at comedy clubs across the country in her Queer Queens of Comedy show and was a staff writer for Fox's Show Me The Funny.
MAUREEN LANGAN
Maureen Langan is an award-winning broadcaster, international standup comedian, TEDx Talk speaker and corporate and event host. She has performed on Broadway with Rosie O'Donnell and has shared the stage with Robin Williams, Steven Wright, Joy Behar, Gladys Knight and Jordin Sparks... just to name a few. Maureen's critically-acclaimed solo show, Daughter of a Garbageman, was hailed as a “one woman tour- de-force“ when it made its U.S. debut in San Francisco. Maureen has been a Ladies of Laughter finalist and is a regular performer in the Ladies of Laughter national tour.
STEPHANIE BLUM
Stephanie is a former psychologist from Brooklyn who couldn't care less. Her sarcastic irreverence is what makes her universally adored by audiences at places like the Stardust in Las Vegas, on Country Music Television's Funniest Videos, HBO's Comedy Minutes and many more. In addition to winning the Pro Division of the Ladies of Laughter Competition at Madison Square Garden, Stephanie won New York's Funniest Teacher Contest, CBS's Star Search and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival's “Breakout Performer." Ben Stein cheers, “Comic genius!“ while Freddie Roman raves, “Her material is brilliant and original...she's spectacular!“
