Modesto, CA – Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA) is excited to announce the upcoming Modesto Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. Cycling enthusiasts are invited to meet in the Tenth Street Plaza at 1010 Tenth Street between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. StanRTA will provide a free breakfast burrito to all bicycle commuters and a Bike Modesto tee shirt to the first 150 cyclists.  

Bike to Work Day is an annual event aimed at promoting sustainable commuting options and reducing traffic congestion. By encouraging individuals to bike, walk, or make use of public transportation, StanRTA aims to emphasize the numerous benefits of adopting eco-friendly modes of travel.

Bike to Work Day serves as a reminder that small changes in commuting habits can make a significant difference in reducing carbon emissions and improving air quality. StanRTA encourages everyone to join in this initiative and pedal their way towards a more sustainable future.
