There’s something special about wandering downtown, sipping on something festive, and popping into one-of-a-kind shops filled with handmade treasures. This Thanksgiving weekend, come join us for DoMo Shop on Saturday, November 30th—a true celebration of Modesto’s community spirit and local talent, just in time for Small Business Saturday.
This isn’t just a shopping event; it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and find joy in the little things that make Modesto shine. With over 40 local vendors, cherished neighborhood shops, live music, and delightful holiday touches, DoMo Shop is all about savoring the season and supporting the wonderful small businesses that call Modesto home.

✨ A Day of Activities for All Ages
We’ve sprinkled in new experiences to make your day downtown as memorable as it is merry:
Gift Wrapping Station: Stop by our gift-wrapping station, hosted by the Modesto Children’s Museum at 928 11th Street. Donations support MoChiMu’s programs, and while they work their wrapping magic, you can enjoy a snack or drink next door at Food Fix or Bakeshop!
DoMo Shop Passport: Pick up your Passport or print it and explore! Collect stamps from six shops (one in each color-coded category) for a chance to win $100 (3 winners will be drawn). It’s a fun way to map your adventure and try something new.
Free Popcorn and Movie Passes: The State Theatre will be handing out delicious popcorn and movie passes, while supplies last.
Photos with Santa: Rockin’ Holiday Santa will be live in the Plaza at the Rockin’ North Pole, near Teacups Cafe, from noon-5 pm, for complimentary photos and holiday cheer.
Live Bluegrass Music: Enjoy toe-tapping bluegrass by Manzanita at Vessel Stringed Instruments at 1110 15th Street between 2 pm and 4 pm.
Pizza Booth by Ten Twelve Bar & Lounge: Refuel with some Fireball Pizza at Ten Twelve Bar & Lounge—a perfect stop to keep your holiday energy going!
✨ Indulge in Sips & Lounges for a Relaxing Break
When you need a little break from the bustle, stop by The Century at 927 10th Street for a Mimosa and Hot Cocoa Bar—a delightful pause to warm up and toast to the season. And if your shopping companion could use a moment to unwind, we’ve got "Spousal Parking" waiting lounges at both The Century and Greens on Tenth. These spots offer a comfy space to relax, complete with festive touches, so everyone can enjoy their day at their own pace.
